West Angeles EEP Travel Policy
(Updated) Fall 2025 - Winter 2026
Non-Refundable Deposit
- A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for all travel registrations. This deposit counts toward your final travel invoice and must be paid to complete registration.
Cancellations
- If a tour is canceled and air tickets are not yet purchased, no portion of the original ($50) deposit is available within 30 days of travel. Before that, a portion will be available for refund.
- If a tour is canceled and air tickets have been bought or reserved with a group deposit, you will only get a refund if the airline offers credit for future travel. If not, no refund will be given.
Family and Friend Visits and Visitors During Travel
- EEP Chaperones will not release youth to Family and/or Friend(s) while on travel without a PREVIOUSLY (before travel) written authorization.
Important E-mails
- 3-4 Emails will be sent that provide additional information about the trip and tour. Parents should read all and ask questions. If there is a ZOOM Meeting prior to travel, parents should attend if at all possible.
Parent Tour Accompaniment Details
- Parents are encouraged to and can travel with us on tours. However, they must pay the same price as their student for Air Travel.
- When a parent is present, they are considered their child's chaperone during travel. Both may leave or rejoin the group independently. (Note: We strongly advise against students travelling within the destination city without their parents.)
High School Student ID
- Students 18 or above must travel with the new CA REAL ID or Driver’s License. Under-18 students must bring their HS ID on the trip.
Group Travel Only
- We can only do tours with students who travel with us (and not separately) to the city and school.
