UC STEM FEST | Free Hands-on STEM Workshops for Grades k-12

Scholars in grades K-12 will have the opportunity to design, build, and engage with 60 different STEM activities!

Throughout the morning, the students will learn about things like:

  • wind energy

  • solar energy

  • coding

  • designing

  • programming robots

Activities include:

  • making elephant toothpaste and slime

  • watching a live sheep heart dissection

  • riding a hovercraft

  • build and test their own battery-powered cars

  • building rockets

  • and much more!!

All materials will be provided upon arrival. This event is an opportunity for students to innovate, create, and make with STEM professionals.

Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024

  • Time: 9am – 12pm

  • Cost: FREE

  • FOR THE FIRST 12 STUDENTS WHO REGISTER WITH EEP:

    • Parents may drop their student(s) off at West Angeles Church and ride the bus to the event.

    • We will stop afterward at Chik-Fil-A for lunch.

    • Expect to drop off students between 8:15am to 8:30am (please do not drop off any earlier)

    • Pick-up between 11:45am and 12:30pm. Students will text parents when the'yre back to church.
