West Angeles City Care: Fire Relief Efforts
Hello Beloved West Angeles Family,
We are in an unprecedented time in our great city of Los Angeles. As wildfires rage across our community, we are challenged to put our faith into action.
If you have been displaced by the wildfires, please know that your church cares for you. We have been able to secure bottled water and blankets for those in need. We will be giving them out TOMORROW 1/11 between the hours of 9am-12pm, while supplies last. This is one of the efforts that we are engaging in to provide some relief. We are currently working hard to secure more supplies and resources for our community members who are in need. We are also working with community partners to identify ways that we can be most impactful in this time of need. Please be on the lookout for future relief efforts. If you are in need of spiritual or emotional support, our Prayer Ministry and Counseling Center are available to help you through this difficult time.
West Angeles Family, if you are interested in helping your church as we serve our community, we are accepting donations of the following:
Toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner)
Blankets
Water
Masks
Feminine products
Diapers
Baby Formula
Disinfectant Wipes
Donations can be accepted at West Angeles between the hours of 7am to 7pm.
If you would like to give a monetary donation, you can give at westa.org/give using the “City Care” option in the drop down menu.
If you would like to volunteer at the outreach effort on Saturday or any future giveaways, please fill out the form at this link so we can contact you as outreach opportunities come up.
I am honored to be your Pastor. Remember that our God is loving, kind, compassionate, sovereign and mighty.
With Love,
Pastor Charles
