Free Online Study Location for Students After the LA Fires
West Angeles Church is offering our Family Life Center to students from Palisades Charter High School, Paul Revere Middle School and schools all across Los Angeles who have been impacted by the recent LA fires.
Starting this Tuesday at 9:00 AM, we are opening our doors to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to continue their online education.
Here's what we offer:
Dedicated space: A comfortable and well-equipped area on the 3rd floor of West Angeles Church.
Expert guidance: Experienced educators and retired teachers will be on-site to assist students with their independent study and online coursework.
Daily support: We'll help students stay on track with their schoolwork and navigate any challenges they may face.
Social and emotional support: When their studies are complete, students can enjoy engaging activities and fellowship with their peers.
Flexible hours: We're open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
Parent involvement: Parents will provide lunch and a small stipend for snacks (ideally $15).
Safety first: We prioritize the safety and well-being of all students.
This program is completely free of charge.
