About the program:
The General Electrician Program will provide the basic knowledge and skill required to become an electrician. Students will be required to participate in the lab areas, field trips, and classroom settings. Students will receive hands-on learning and application in areas of electrical installation including employability skills, construction, and electrical safety. Hand and power tool safety, electrical math, electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, electrical material identification, blueprint readying, underground installations in residential and commercial/industrial wiring. Upon completion of the class, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion. This is a state-approved program that allows you to obtain your electrician trainee card (ET Card) and receive education credit hours.
