Regarding the Admissions Process

Colleges will ask to you send your SAT and/or ACT scores, transcripts, scholarship information, FAFSA and even enrollment confirmation within the months of December and January.

Now, to figure out when to send which piece of information can be tricky and if not done properly could negatively affect your college admission process.

Luckily, we’ve provided some simple steps below to help you navigate these upcoming months.

Test Scores (SAT/ACT)

  • For CSU’s and UC’s:

    • Make sure to send them ONCE (to avoid extra fees) when they advise you too.

  • Private Colleges

    • School fails to send scores or teacher/counselor recommendations by Jan. 15 2020.

Transcripts:

  • For CSU’s and UC’s

    • Only send transcripts when you’ve received a formal request from them.

  • Private and Out-of-State Colleges

    • Do not forget to send your 3-year High School transcripts

Scholarships and FAFSA:

  • For CSU’s and UC’s

    • FAFSA due date is March 2, 2020

    • If applied to a CSU make sure to check your EMAIL and RESPOND PROMPTLY. Failure to do so will result in dis-enrollment

  • For consideration, D’s and F’s in a required high school class MUST BE MADE UP. Notify prospective colleges of any changes to classes or grades.
